THE BODY CONTOUR LIPO LASER TREATMENT LAB
It goes by many names, Body Contour, Lipo Laser, Laser Fat Melting and Lipolysis and no matter what you call it it is virtually the same service. Contour Light or CoolSculpting?

There are so many different procedures to help people appear thinner that it can be hard to decide which is right for you. Two of the most popular non-surgical treatments are CoolSculpting and Contour Light. Here’s information and our take on both of them…
Cool Sculpting uses applicators to freeze one’s fat cells, causing them to crystalize and die. Over time, the body will naturally process and eliminate these dead cells. Patients often report an intense cold feeling at the start of the procedure that subsides as the targeted area becomes numb. Throughout the procedure, patients may feel tugging and pinching as the applicator’s vacuum draws the fatty tissue into the applicator cup. Post-procedure, there is no down time but there may be temporary bruising, redness and skin sensitivity as a result of the vacuum. Results can be seen as early as 3 weeks but most patients will see a difference 1-4 months after a treatment. Costs can be between $750-$3,000 depending on the targeted areas and number of treatments needed.
On the other hand, Contour Light uses low-level red light pads to liquify your fat cells (if you’re interested in red light therapy, check out our previous blog post). As a result, the fat cells shrink, move through your lymph system, and are eventually flushed out of your body. There are no side effects during or after the procedure. Most patients will see results after 6-8 treatments which costs about $500-$2,000 depending on the targeted area.
Although both treatments can produce similar outcomes, we definitely prefer Contour Light! Not only is it cheaper, but you see results faster and there are no painful side effects!
