Low frequency pulsed electromagnetic field (PEMF) can provide noninvasive, safe and easy to apply method to treat migraine headaches and PEMF has a long term record of safety. A randomized single-blinded parallel-placebo

changes of headache parameters were seen in the placebo group in the first phase. The second and third part of the
study showed that improvements in the active group persisted even after an 8 month follow-up period. The study also showed that menstrual dependency of headache diminished the effect of PEMF treatment.
