Let's talk about the boring sweat box we all know as the Sauna. Yes i know they aren't very exciting or cool looking, and when you talk about the sauna at parties like i do your audience usually looks at you with the "SO WHAT" face. But let me spend a few minutes completely boring you to death about the health benefits. Unlike a traditional sauna, Club Recharge offers a cooler version of the sauna we all hate. We offer a Full Spectrum Infrared Sauna with all three wavelengths of near-infrared, mid-infrared and far-infrared. I know it is starting to sound sexier already, but i haven't even gotten to the good stuff.

The basic difference between a traditional sauna with the hot coals you pour water on and an infrared sauna is how they heat you. A traditional sauna heats the air around you to a degree that your body kick starts its natural cooling process. This means bringing blood closer to the surface of the skin and opening the pores to release sweat. Infrared saunas emit a wavelength of light that your body absorbs without heating up the room around you.

An infrared sauna provides a much milder temperature environment – between 120 to 150 degrees F. Additionally, the light of infrared saunas travels much deeper into the body, meaning they are to cause a more vigorous sweat, despite the lower (and more comfortable) temperature. Now with that out of the way let's talk about the health benefits of Infrared Sauna Therapy.

The Health Benefits:

According to the Journal of the American Medical Association, regular use of a sauna imparts a similar boost on the cardiovascular system as running. As you relax in the gentle infrared heat, your body is hard at work producing sweat, pumping blood and burning calories.

As your body increases sweat production to cool itself, your heart works harder to pump blood at a greater rate to boost circulation. This increase in your metabolism may burn calories.
