WHAT IS RECHARGE?
WHY WE CREATED RECHARGE
Why we created the concept of Recharge Health & Wellness. After looking at all of the existing wellness businesses that customers had to choose from in the health & wellness industry, we were shocked. None of them incorporated all of the basic fundamentals of good health & wellness into their business models. How could they improve health & wellness for their customers if they didn't incorporate these basic fundamentals we wondered. Turns out they can't, and they don't.
BETTER HEALTH FUNDAMENTALS
The most fundamentally important things you can do to improve your health & wellness are proper sleep, healthy nutrition and regular exercise. The therapies we offer are ten times more effective when they are incorporated with the basic fundamentals of health and wellness. There is no amount of red-light therapy sessions alone you can do that will replace the benefits of healthy nutrition and no amount of infrared sauna sessions by themselves that you can do to replace the benefits of regular exercise. But if you start working on your health fundamentals together while you do regular sessions of many of these modalities, your health will rapidly improve.
HOW COULD WE MAKE IT BETTER
Rather than selling individual sessions of red-light, ice bath and sauna, we designed the Recharge business with the focus on spending our time educating each customer about the benefits of each therapy, along with other things they could do outside the Recharge studio to improve their health & wellness. Our design was to teach wellness, not sell therapies, and to discuss all of the options the customer had to choose from to improve their health or chronic condition. We believed that teaching the benefits of these therapies was missing from most wellness studios.
HOW COULD WE MAKE IT EFFECTIVE
Instead of just letting our customers choose which therapy they wanted based on how cool it looks or impressive it sounded, we trained our staff so they could recommend the specific therapies and how many sessions were necessary to help improve the customers chronic health problems they were facing. More importantly we build a specific custom-tailored plan for each customer with realistic timeframes as to when they would begin to notice improvements.
HOW COULD WE MAKE IT Affordable
Making it affordable we believed was the key ingredient to our success. So rather than over-spending on our facility decor or trying to impress our customers fancy spa features we concentrated our money on the best equipment that would deliver the most consistent results. Manufacturers of wellness equipment make similar devices that cost $15k-$150k without much difference in the therapeutic benefit the customer receives, just fancier packaging. It's not a better red-light therapy just because the wellness studio paid more for the device, it's just more expensive.
HOW COULD WE MAKE IT EASY
Rather than having our customers call the studio to schedule appointments we developed the technology that would allow our customers to schedule and cancel sessions right from their computer or phone. So, if you want to schedule a sauna session today, you simply open our app on your phone, check what times are available and book it.
HOW COULD WE MAKE IT NO PRESSURE
Recharge designed each of our passes to cover only what the customer wants or needs without any contracts or commitments. If a customer is new to Recharge and just wants to try a few modalities, they can just buy a 1-day pass. If a customer only wants to use the infrared sauna, they can buy an unlimited single modality pass and use the sauna as much as they want for a flat fee.
HOW COULD WE MAKE IT POPULAR
At Recharge we believe that if we deliver noticeable results to our customers, that they will help us spread the word about what Recharge was doing, and we were right. Nearly 90% of new Recharge customers are referred to us by a friend, family member or co-worker.
